Chris founded Moreno-Marketing providing a “Virtual CMO service without the overhead.” Projects include a successful partnership between Freeformers and Facebook to train 75,000 millennials in digital skills across six countries, Unbiased a Fin-tech B2C and B2B proposition, and start-ups, non for-profit and private equity turnaround. Moreno-Marketing provides Commercial Marketing and Sales Audit and follows up with high impact support.
Back in 2000, Chris was one of the first digital marketing pioneers at Bauer Media. He left to mastermind the Absolute Radio launch in 2007. Chris Lawson joined the Guardian in 2010 as Content Sales & Marketing Director just as the Guardian’s “expose” on Phone hacking was about to hit the headlines. He was responsible for £80mil of content revenue, marketing and brand strategy. He focused on creating a subscription and membership model in place today.
In his spare time Chris runs, mentors students and entrepreneurs, listens to music every moment he can, is, author of IVFDAD.com and co-hosts the podcast “Across the Pond - Marketing Transformed”
